Ah Ma

Vancouver Premiere

Ah Ma, a film that world-premiered at the 60th Cannes Film Festival, is a poignant story about a grandmother’s impending death and how a family copes with the harsh reality of losing a loved one. Beneath their awkward facade of bravery, we see adults break down in solitude, juxtaposed by the presence of solemn children at play with little comprehension of the concept of death.
